Filters¶
Filters are non-interactive operations that change the whole mesh or a selected subset of faces. Simple filters are available from the
menu. They are applied directly to the mesh. The following operations are supported:Triangulate – Triangulate polygonal faces
Flip Faces – Change the orientation of all faces in the mesh
Dual – Turn a mesh into its dual mesh. All faces become vertices and all vertices become faces.
Filters that have a UI component are available in the sidebar. The following filters are supported:
Curvature – Compute and visualize surface curvature
Smoothing – Remove noise from a mesh
Subdivision – Refine the surface using subdivision
Decimation – Reduce the number of triangles
Remeshing – Optimize the size and shape of triangles
Feature Edges – Detect feature edges in a mesh
Hole Filling – Fill holes in a mesh
