Feature EdgesΒΆ

The Feature Edges filter can be used to detect sharp features in a mesh. It is based on the angle between the normals of adjacent faces. If the angle is greater than the selected threshold, the edge between the faces is considered a feature. After applying the filter, the selected feature edges are highlighted in the 3D view. Alternatively, the filter can be used to mark boundary edges as features and to clear all feature edges.
